Snorkeling Beach

Little Bay

One of Anguilla's most popular sports for snorkeling. 15-30 ft. Sheltered site. You need to take a boat ride to get to this secluded area.

Shoal Bay Beach East

Excellent snorkeling just offshore. Good visibility.

Sandy Hill Bay

15-60 ft. mini-wall diving. Drive right to the beach and the tiny reef starts right at the shore line. Great spot for beginners.  Short cliff wall not far from shore is home to many varieties of reef fish.

Sandy Island

Accessible by boat from Sandy Ground Beach.

Sandy Ground Beach

Anguilla is low lying, and flat, the land settled on limestone and coral. Anguilla's thin arid soil is largely unsuitable for agriculture, and the island has few land-based natural resources. Anguilla is relatively dry (average 35" of rain a year) and prone to hurricanes.

Scenic Beach

Captains Bay

Wide stretch of white sand lined with coral cliffs located on the eastern end of the island near Windward Point. To get there you take "Long Road" to East End, look for a Palm Grove Restaurant sign and follow the dirt road east to Captain's Bay. Not good for swimming or snorkeling due to undertow.

Crocus Bay 

Scenic cliffs and turquoise waters.

Swimming Beach

Shoal Bay East

2-mile strand of white powdery sand. Most popular beach. Plenty of food & drinks services and water sport rentals.

Rendezvous Bay

Great walking beach with soft white sand and views of St. Martin.

Meads Bay

Idyllic swimming area for families, near the Malliouhana Hotel. Malliouhana Hotel's beach bar is set a bit back from the sand of Mead's Bay  and offers grill type food.

Sandy Ground

Lots of action. Folks park their boats near the edge of the water and party.

Barnes Bay

Secluded beach area located on the north side of the island in the West End. The only public access is on the road to Mangos Restaurant and Caribella resort.
