Corpus Christi is a coastal city in the Southern region of the U.S. state of Texas. The Corpus Christi area has over 113 miles of Gulf Coast beaches; visitors to Corpus Christi have access to nearly 70 miles of beachfront on Padre and Mustang islands.

Parking Information

On the Southside of the Channel, the Port invested $6 million to renovate Cargo Dock 1 and 2 into a multi-purpose cruise terminal/ meeting & banquet facility. This facility is capable of accommodating numerous events and meetings. Ultimately, this facility will be used for passengers embarking/ disembarking on cruise ships to destinations in Mexico and Caribbean.

Getting Around

SPID

South Padre Island Drive is often referred to as S-P-I-D by the locals, however it is more commonly marked as Texas Highway 358. SPID will take a visitor from central Corpus Christi to Upper Padre Island and Gulf Beaches.

Harbor Ferry

Offered by the Corpus Christi Regional Transportation Authority (RTA). The ninety foot ferry travels from the Peoples Street T-Head to the Texas Aquarium/Corpus Christi Beach area. Website
