Packing Advice for Women
Mix and match clothes that resist wrinkles (polyester blends work best), and fold flat in my luggage. Consider limiting white or light color clothes that show stains so clothes can be worn more than once. You can have one or two outfits you can wear casual during the day and dress-up with accessories and a pair of heels at night later in the week. Don't forget to bring a plastic bag or laundry bag of some sort to put your dirty clothes in rather than having to store them in your suitcase until disembarkation.

Cruise Wear Etiquette
What is Formal?
Long gown, cocktail dress, or women's tuxedo or suit.
What is Resort Casual?
Walking shorts, skorts, and skirts during the day, slacks in the evening.
Casual
Jeans, t-shirts, sportswear, swimwear, flip flops, tank tops, denim shorts, short shorts etc.
Note: Tank tops or cutoffs are viewed as inappropriate for public rooms and dining rooms. Jeans are acceptable on Carnival ships other than formal night.
Need to know! |
Wearing camouflage is illegal in many countries in the Caribbean and South America, along with other areas around the world. You will be required to return to the ship and change, or worse, you could be arrested. Better safe they sorry. Leave the camouflage shorts at home. |
